Standards

The Centre for Study of Insurance Operations (CSIO) launched its XML commercial‐lines standard in May 2006. This standard, the result of significant collaboration between brokers, vendors, insurers, and CSIO staff, provides the foundation, or platform, for industry‐wide electronic commercial‐lines data‐exchange. All Policy Works Certified Data‐Exchange partners must use CSIO XML to exchange data with Policy Works Inc.
