All Policy Works eMarketing functionality can be put into one of three workflows: upload, download, and inquiry. And there are 12 different data exchange partners with varying degrees of capabilities. So, we offer two ways to learn what Policy Works eMarketing capabilities are right for you: 1) by functionality, and 2) by insurer partner.
Functionality: What You Can Do
- Upload
There are three of different workflows for uploading submissions, depending on the eMarketing Insurer(s) you work with:
- No-touch, straight-through procesing with SGI CANADA, Coachman, ICPEI, and L'Unique General Insurance
- AskBack procesing for real-time quotations with AXA Insurance and AXA Assurance
- Bridging solutions to broker portals with INTACT, Gore Mutual, Aviva, RSA, and Economical

Regardless of the workflow you use, the process is always the same in Policy Works:
- Select the submission you would like to upload
- Click the Print/Send button
- In the Print/Send Wizard, select eMarketing
- Click Next; your quote will be uploaded
- Download
You can download a quotation from an insurer directly into your Policy Works insured file, regardles of how you sent in the submission:
- emailed a PDF submission to your underwriter
- uploade the submission via eMarketing
- phoned/faxed the submission to your underwriter
- used a broker portal to submit the new business
When you download an insurer quotation, the response, premium, and coverage recommendations all download directly into your Policy Works file. A tab called 'Company Response' is created, allowing you to view the insurer quote. Any changes can be included in the Proposal.

- Inquiry
Run real-time policy, billing and claims inquires for policies written with Economical or Missisquoi. In one easy step you can access this information and download a PDF of the inquiry directly to the insured Policy Works file.
If your brokerage deals with Aviva, you can download a policy inquiry in Microsoft Word format.
