Joining Forces
Last year, R&SA joined forces with Policy Works Inc. to exchange commercial lines data electronically through our web-quoting tool, Rapid eQuote®.
Brokers have asked us for ways to reduce duplicate data entry and save them time. This electronic data transfer saves brokers a significant amount of time processing policies, giving them more time to build their business. Brokers using Policy Works will be able to transfer the majority of their customer and coverage information from Policy Works to Rapid eQuote®, allowing them to quote and bind policies quicker. Depending on the amount of customer data capture in Policy Works, up to 80 per cent of the fields can be uploaded into Rapid eQuote®.
"The R&SA integration from Policy Works to Rapid eQuote® is good; I don't have to do double entry. The name, address, codes and most of the coverages are automatically added, therefore I get a quote a lot quicker than if I had to add all the information myself," says David H. Scholes of Secure Insurance Solutions Group Inc.
This data exchange is another step as we continue to offer new functionality to make it easier for brokers to do business with us.
In addition to this investment in technology, in the past year we have a made a number of other investments in ensuring that we are the leading insurer for small business. First, we offer the popular EnergyXpress® web tool for brokers to quickly quote and issue the policy documents for stand-alone equipment breakdown insurance. Next, we leveraged the AIR MILES® Reward Program to offer AIR MILES reward miles to our Small Business Solutions customers, offering one AIR MILES reward mile for every $20 spent in premium with a local RSA broker. We coupled this offer with a number of new products, including Consultants and Advisors, and Bed and Breakfast. We also made enhancements to existing products, including Light Manufacturing & Wholesale, and Contractors. We also offer two-year policy terms for all Property-Casualty and Equipment Breakdown policies, which gives customers greater stability as their rates are guaranteed for 24 months.
